I provide individual and group lessons. Many of my students learn as a couple or with family and friends.
Lessons are very flexible and tailor-made to suit your needs. They can be as relaxed or intensive as you wish. You will feel at ease and be able to learn at your own pace.

Unique technique you won’t find elsewhere
I teach the basics by creating a vocabulary and verbs list with you, enabling you to make your first sentences.
During the class, I concentrate on speaking and listening skills covering vocabulary, grammar and culture using role-play, audio and video exercises, newspaper articles, podcasts and conversation games.
The techniques I use are tailored to your level to improve your vocabulary and accent. I make lessons enjoyable and interesting. Learning is more effective when it is fun, interactive and engaging.
If you like, I can also give you homework to help develop your reading and writing skills…but it’s nothing like your old school homework!

Hello, I’m Nathalie. I’m a language tutor, with over 20 years experience. I have a Certificate in Education (Post-16 Education and Training) and an OCR Certificate for Teachers of Foreign Languages to Adults.
I am French and am based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire in the UK. I have previously lived in Morocco, Ile de la Réunion, République de Guinée and Spain.
From early infancy, I have been surrounded by multiple languages. It came naturally to learn and speak to the people around me in their own languages.
By the time I was fifteen, I had a good understanding of Arabic and Spanish in addition to my native French.
Subsequently, living in England allowed me to improve my English and a passion for Italy made learning my fifth language easy.
My delight in life is to share my languages and their culture with my students.
